Allah The Exalted says: But he who is greedy miser and thinks himself self sufficient." And belies Al-Husna (the best) .We will make smooth for him the path for evil and what will his wealth avail him.

Allah The Exalted says:The mutual rivalry (for piling up of worldly things) diverts you, Untill you visit the graves (i.e. till you die)

Allah The Exalted says:And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth.

Anas (RA) narrated : Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "The son of Adam grows old but two things remain, greed and long hopes."

Abu Hurairah (RA) narrated :The Prophet (SAW) said,"let the slave of dinar and dirham ámoney â and shawls ( luxurious clothes) perish for he is pleased if these things are given to him, and if not he is displeased."
 

Anas (RA) narrated : Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "The son of Adam grows old, but two things remain young in him, the greed for wealth, and greed for a longer life."

 

 Ibn Abbas (RA) Narrated that he heardThe Prophet (SAW) say,"If the son of Adam had two valleys of money, he would seek the third, for nothing can fill the belly of Adam except dust and Allah forgives him who repents to him."

Abu Hurairah (RA)arrated: Allah' s messenger (SAW) said," Hasten in doing good deeds before you are overtaken by trials which would be like a part of the dark night. During which a man would be a muslim in the morning and a disbeliever in the evening, or he would be a believer in the evening and a disbeliever in the morning and would sell his faith for worldly goods."

Kaab bin Iyadh (RA) narrated that he heard The Prophet (SAW) say," Indeed for every nation there is a trial ,and the trial of my nation will be wealth."

Ibn Kaab bin Malik Al Ansari narrated from his father that Allah's Messenger (SAW) said," "Two hungry wolves let loose amongst sheep will not cause more harm and corruption to them than a person's greed for wealth and status will do to his Deen."
