Al-Huda International Welfare Foundation For Women is a registered NGO active in the promotion of Islamic Education and Welfare since 1994. One of the objectives of this foundation is to provide help to the calamity stricken people.

As part of the relief activities being carried out, a helicopter in co-ordination with the Russian Team was sent to Kathai near LoC. It had sleeping bags, medicines and food stuff bags. The totaly weight for 1200 kg or 1.2 ton. With the courtesy of the Russians some excess was also sent. For a larger view, please click on the picture.

Currently, the Tent City of Islamabad has placed a notice at its entrance that no more refugees can be accommodated as they ran out of tents and resources. But many people are still waiting outside the tent city as they have no other place to go. This is a clear indication that the donations made are not enough. The complete medical aid boxes provided by Nato, the totally flattened CMH of Muzaffarabad, the only section of CMH with very dangerous cracks, CHM standing building badly tilted, the destructed CMH, X-Ray machine, Air-conditioner, Medical camp setup by Indonesian team, The white part of the mountains is portion which had land-slided.
